Arabic Language Practice Events

Arabic conversation events are currently on pause.

Other Language Clubs🤖 Practice with AI

Pep Talk Radio has previously hosted online Arabic conversation sessions for people who wanted to practice Arabic, meet fellow learners, and use the language in a relaxed, friendly setting.

We’re not currently running regular Arabic events, but we hope to bring them back in the future.
In the meantime, if you’re learning Arabic and looking for ways to keep practicing, there are still useful options available.

Want to Start Learning Arabic?

If you’re just getting started or want to continue building your Arabic skills, you can try Duolingo’s Arabic course for free.
It can be a convenient way to practice regularly, build vocabulary, and develop a learning habit.

Remember, though, that apps are only one part of learning a language. At some point, using Arabic with other people becomes important too. Speaking gives you the opportunity to put vocabulary and grammar into practice and become more comfortable communicating.

That’s one of the reasons we created our conversation events.

About the Arabic Conversation Club

When the Arabic club was running, the idea was simple: create a friendly place where learners could actually use Arabic with other people.

Sessions included open conversations as well as activities and online games designed to encourage vocabulary and speaking practice. Participants could talk about subjects they enjoyed, meet other learners, and help each other improve.

It wasn’t intended to be a formal Arabic class. It was a place to practice, participate, make mistakes, and keep improving.

Why Practice Arabic With Other People?

Studying vocabulary and grammar is important, but knowing something on paper isn’t always the same as being able to use it in a conversation.

Regular conversation practice can help you:

  • Become more comfortable speaking Arabic
  • Recall vocabulary more naturally
  • Practice forming sentences in real time
  • Get used to communicating with other learners
  • Build confidence when making mistakes
  • Turn things you’ve studied into something you can actually use

You don’t need to know everything before you start speaking. Conversation is part of the learning process.

Will Arabic Events Return?

We hope so. The Arabic conversation club is currently paused, rather than permanently discontinued. When we’re able to run Arabic sessions regularly again, we’ll update this page with the new event information.

A Note About Pep Talk Radio

Pep Talk Radio is a language-learning community built around a simple idea:

Learning a language is easier when you have opportunities to actually use it.

We share language-learning resources and organize online conversation opportunities where possible. Our events are designed to complement language courses, apps, books, and independent study — not replace them.

The goal isn’t to speak perfectly.

It’s to keep learning, keep practicing, and gradually become more comfortable communicating with other people.

Arabic Learning: What’s Next?
